The Yak Hostel is a beautiful place with breathtaking panoramic views of the lake. Abril’s service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and she helped us choose the best dishes from the menu. The music and atmosphere were excellent. Highly recommended.

An excellent place to stay in Bacalar, close to downtown and just a short walk from the lagoon. The staff and the other guests are incredibly friendly. Alison at the front desk was always kind, welcoming, and attentive.
The rooms are cleaned daily, and the beds are clean and very comfortable. I’ll definitely keep coming back every time I visit Bacalar. They also offer morning yoga and fun activities in the afternoons. ☺️
