It’s one of the best hostels for traveling solo. Group activities, the social atmosphere and the dock make it very easy to make friends from day one.
Does it have direct access to the lagoon?
Yes. We have our own dock right on the Lagoon of Seven Colors. Sunrises, kayaks, paddleboarding and a bar right on the water.
What activities are included in the stay?
Many are free or low-cost: yoga, mixology, beer pong, salsa, painting, sunset DJs and more. Tours (SUP, sailing) have an extra cost.
Is there good internet for working?
Yes, WiFi is available. For heavy video calls it may vary depending on the day’s demand.
Is there a shared kitchen?
Yes, guests can use the shared kitchen.
How clean is the place?
We maintain high cleanliness standards. Most reviews highlight this positively. Dorms are cleaned daily.
Can I come in even if I'm not staying there?
Yes. The bar, the restaurant and some events are open to the public. Ask us about day passes and dock access.

How far is it from downtown?
A 5-minute walk from downtown Bacalar, right on the lagoon. Well located but with a sense of disconnection and nature.
